#Valentine'sDay

With less than a week away, #boyfriends & #girlfriends worldwide are scurrying together plans & presents for their sweethearts to celebrate #Valentine'sDay. This post isn't going to be filled with a mushy unraveling of my emotions toward the day, but rather a recognition for those singletons out there. I know that people who are with someone generally look forward to #VDay, but let's take a minute to think about those who will be "riding solo" on this holiday.

Just because you are not dating someone right now, doesn't mean you have to give up the love for this holiday. I would suggest getting together with other single friends, getting a few bottles of #Vino, DVDs, and definitely a big box of assorted chocolates. Nothings better than that...I mean, if you really think about it, that's what the rest of the world who's not single is doing [drinking, eating chocolates, maybe enjoying the occasional #bouquet of their favorite flower combos...] but if you look past doing all of those with someone you love or date, then it's basically like the same thing!

Don't be saddened by this upcoming event, which some call #SinglesRecognitionDay, but rather be optimistic and write #Valentines for your friends & family.

Another upside to being single? You can always have more than one Valentine (without crossing into #badterritory, of course.)

Some ideas to do:
-Write all your closest friends #Valentine'sDay cards
-Buy a BIG box of chocolates
-Watch #Ro-Co's (Romantic Comedies)
-Order in dinner
-Get lots of Vino & Champagne!
-Wear comfy clothes
-Make Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Stay saucy & singletons, keep your heads up high!
XO Cara
