#ScarfSeason

I think it's a pretty safe bet to say that the best thing about fall is the clothing. There's no better way to be on top of your fashion-game than with oversized sweaters, leggings/jeggings, your favorite pair of boots and of course, a scarf to top it all off!

Scarfs are probably the easiest way to dress up a top and make an outfit "pop." Take a gray v-neck tee for instance. By itself, it's boring, plain, ugly, simple..

Now dress it up with a scarf and... BAM! So much better! It now has some life and zest to it!

The simplest addition can make the biggest difference. Accessorizing can save you tons of money and time. Who needs hundreds of tops when you can dress up the simple ones with great colorful scarfs? Plus, they keep you warm which comes in handy now that the mornings here are around 50 degrees.

Do yourself a favor by getting the most for your buck! Go out and make sure you have some saucy (colored and/or printed) scarfs this fall. Also, be sure you know how to properly wear/tie your scarf before making your big debut so you don't look foolish. See some great pointers here!

Stay saucy & don't leave that neck exposed,

#MAXImumSauciness

This summer is not only about the #shorts, it's being equally shared with great, flowing #maxi dresses! Whether you stick to the plain #maxi, or dare to be zesty with patterns or prints, sporting one of these is sure to get you on top of the #saucy list. There are some Do's & Dont's when comes to sporting #maxis, as there is with almost anything…

DO:
-wear wedges. When you see a girl with their beautiful #maxi just dragging all over the ground you can't help but cringe!

-choose sensible jewelry and accessories. If you are sporting a wild #maxi with many patterns & prints stick to the simple necklaces and bracelets. If you are sticking to a simple #maxi then you can dress it up with great statement necklaces, bracelets and/or a fun purse. I would suggest checking out Nordstrom's BP, Francescas, or if you are on a budget (like most of us) you can also comb through Forever21 and find some good gems.

DON'T:
-buy any #maxi with fur… first off, animals are friends not clothes! Do not wear them like you are some Cruella De Vil doppleganger.. second off, it is SUMMER. Who wants to be under pounds of animal fur?! Third and finally… it is just not #saucy.

-buy a #maxi that could also be easily confused with a potato sack.. you want to find the dress that will hug your body in the most flattering ways. Don't spend your money on something you can pull out of the trash, cut a few holes in and wear around town.

Enjoy summer in your #maxi & stay saucy!

#SummerOfShorts

This summer I've been noticing something trending that I've never really paid too much attention to before.

Since I'm headed to Dover, Delaware in the end of June for Firefly Music Festival I was into finding some good festival shorts. I'm not talking about your usual white denim, faded wash denim "jorts" here, I'm talking about some outfit-making-shorts... the BEST kind.

Usually when I go shopping I try and find tops with saucy backs (my fave). Although recently the tribal print shorts have been catching my eye. I also picked up a pair of some ombre shorts and splatter painted shorts. Pair these bold shorts with simple white top and you're good to go. Also saves you money since typically shorts are less expensive than tops or dresses and you can pair them with a simple white tank.

Stay saucy & work those shorts this summer,
