#CheetahDOs&DON'Ts

When deciding you are ready to spice up your outfit with some #felinefun, there's only one cat to go to, the Cheetah, of course! Cheetah print has been in fashion for over a year now, and has really outdone itself. I have always been a longtime lover of the print, and am so happy that it has fallen into place with many celebs & stars.

For those who haven't yet become bold enough to wear the print, this post is just a helpful little tool to guide you in the right direction. A quick lesson of Cheetah Dos & Dont's:

Do wear something #simple&classy such as this Kate Spade cheetah purse. It looks great with simple colored outfits such as any shades of black or white.



Don't wear a purse that you may contemplate naming! Who wants to walk around town with something so "Simba-esque" as this purse? No one. Or at least, no one should. Stay simple & you'll be happy.

Do believe in the saying, "less is more" when it comes to choosing a Cheetah-shoe. These cute heels will be ferocious any way you choose to rock them. You can add them to a skinnyjean/jegging outfit easily. Perhaps you are more of a skirt/dress betch; then again, they will work with a classic black or white outfit of your choosing! 

Don't even try these clog-beasts on in the store! Please! Unless you are going to visit some relatives over in Holland, please step away from this merchandise! If you are feeling a little short, I would not suggest investing in a pair of these #clunkykicks, but rather a classic and more simple pair of #wedges. New saying of the day: "When in doubt, wedge out."

Do try to incorporate some other colors when bringing cheetah into the home. Decorating rooms with cheetah immediately makes the environment #fun&flirty! Who wouldn't have fun in a room like this?! Cheetah furniture is the new feng shui. Give it about one more year, and take notice of how much furniture you see that has even the littlest bit of cheetah on it. Albeit you'd be surprised!

Don't do this unless you are sending in a video to be the next applicant on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. This is a straight up monstrosity. This sort of environment brings nothing to the eye other than a migraine. There is too much of such a powerful pattern going on here. The matching sofa and chairs are a big no-no. Also important to note is the inclusion of zebra print here [cheetah prints main rival]. The usage of both prints here are worse than clashing navy with black, basic message it to be careful!

Final note: bringing cheetah print into fashion has its limits. Please understand that makeup will never, and should never have any pattern or print to it. The whole point of makeup is for it to appear as a natural as possible. This eyeshadow made up of cheetah print is just awful. If you want to be completely on top of your zest, do not let this happen to you.
