It's 8 P.M., you aren't tired, and you know you want to be #flirty&fun with the betches. The only problem is, you have a paper due the next morning.
Sound familiar? For a lot of scholarly betches, this should. #FOMO (otherwise known as the
Fear of Missing Out) has effected the lives of many people worldwide. It doesn't matter how organized you are, or how on top of work you may be, there comes a time every semester where you need to decide if you will conquer your #FOMO or if it's going to conquer you. It's okay to admit when we've been defeated.
#cuteoutfits, #peerpressure, many other reasons you feel like it would be the
right decision to go out all make up reasons to give into #FOMO and end up spending the night out with friends. The thing we betches put in the back of our mind seems to be how rough that 7 A.M. alarm the next morning will be when you need to start working on the paper again. #FOMO effects people of all ages and nationalities. Recently, I've been experiencing a lot of #FOMO having to wake up every morning at 7 A.M. this summer. I've decided it's not so much a #FOMO, its more of a #FOBH (
Fear of being Hungover). [[A Cara-motto:
Work shouldn't happen when a hangover does.]]

Regis staying active? #goodwork |
Whether you are good at prioritizing or not, we all have to admit that we've succumbed to the tempting ways of #FOMO, so don't be too hard on yourself. We can all better ourselves #slowlybutsurely. Just remember the importance of weighing out the #pros&cons before making
"your final decision" (that phrasing always reminds me of Regis Philbin on
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire).
[[Good show.

Stay saucy & live your life,
Cara
